My first session with Fiona was a lot better then I first predicted. I was quite anxious to begin with but she was lovely and made me feel very calm and safe,

After her introduction we spoke about why I was there today and what I wanted to talk about, and then she explained about the techniques she would be doing and what would happen, at that point I knew I was safe. When we had finished I woke up and I felt very tired, but calm and spoke about what had happened and how I felt, I feel like I took a lot from my first session and looked forward to my next sessions. Miss Wilkinson.

I had been under a lot of stress and I thought that events that had happened recently were undermining my confidence. This was having a knock on effect on my work and with every relationship around me and I was feeling frustrated and desperate.

I contacted Fiona as I was looking for someone who would tell me how to sort my life out and would have all the answers to what I should be doing. That was my perception of a life coach. On my first visit to Fiona I expected a thousand questions from her and then a list of do’s and dont’s at the end of the session and I was very anxious. On first meeting Fiona she instantly put me at ease. She is extremely positive and upbeat and could also make me laugh! I came away from the first session with a completely new outlook on life! She helped me see, with small prompts, that I actually had all the answers myself! I just needed to think what was important to me, to prioritise and not be so hard on myself. We devised an action plan with achievable goals and in a realistic timescale. She helped me to realise that my anxiety stemmed from my relationship with my mum when I was a child and that I had strived for “perfection” since my childhood, putting too much pressure on myself and never asking for help, thinking I had to do everything for myself. She helped me to reevaluate what was important to me and I agreed to make a commitment to work towards the goal and to make any sacrifices that were needed to achieve it. I looked forward to each subsequent session with Fiona and received positive reinforcement from her at all times and would leave feeling more empowered. The structured framework that she uses has had a positive impact on my personal relationships and I have more quality time with my children and with friends and amazingly I don’t feel guilty about this any more! I feel that Fiona has given me the tools to move forward with my life that I can use if my old behaviours start to creep in. She has helped me to recognise them and I now have more confidence to change what I don’t like. If I ever have a wobbly moment, which I do, but not as often now, Fiona is always there for support and I can’t thank her enough.

I have been seeing Fiona for a number of weeks and have already seen a difference in my life. She has a friendly approach and although I was worried about seeing someone she made me feel at ease.

I look forward to meeting up with her weekly so I can work toward my long term outcome. Seeing her has made me think anything is possible when you work at it.
